SUMMARY:Purple Purse Challenge...  Join Our Team!
DESCRIPTION:Abuse Counseling and Treatment is excited to announce that we have been chosen to participate in the 2018 Purple Purse Challenge (The purse is designed by Serena Williams)  through the Allstate Foundation. This friendly Fundraising Challenge takes place in October during Domestic Violence Awareness month. This is a fundraiser challenge for areas throughout the Nation to raise money and awareness about domestic violence. In addition to ACT receiving all donated money\, there are also monetary prizes (ranging from $5000 to $100\,000 if you place in the top slots) for the non-profit agency who raises the most money for their agency.   We want to win the Challenge!  Our first step is to get people to join our team.  You can do so by clicking here then click on the “Join a Team” button\, then type in Abuse Counseling and Treatment.  The goal\, from now until October 1st is to gather as many teams as we can.  Not only can YOU join us\, but share this with your friends and family and encourage them to join.  The team could also be an agency…What does this mean?  Let’s say that you have a friend\, Jane\, who works for Mary’s Maple Syrup Factory. Jane can create her own Mary’s Maple Syrup Factory team and ask all her friends\, coworkers etc. to donate to the Mary’s Maple Syrup Factory team.  All ultimately donations benefit ACT\, but it would be a great challenge to see which Agency/Team has the most donations! \nRemember\, we only have until October 1st to get as many team members as we can.  The Purple Purse Challenge goes live October 2nd and runs through October 31st.
