24 Hour Hotline
ACT provides a 24-hour hotline available for confidential counseling and referrals. In 2007, ACT received a total of 14,909 hotline calls for our local community.
Trained, professional staff monitor the phone and provide some or all of the following services to callers:
- Crisis Counseling
- Information and Referrals
- Safety Planning
- Admission to the Shelter
This site is owned and maintained by Abuse Counseling and Treatment, Inc., a not-for-profit agency funded in part by United Way of Lee, Hendry and Glades Counties, Lee County, Florida Coalition Against Domestic Violence, Florida Council Against Sexual Violence, City of Fort Myers, City of Cape Coral, Department of Children and Families,Office of the Attorney General and donations from the community.
