Rape Crisis Center
In September 2002, the Rape Trauma Center, Inc., d.b.a. the Phoenix Center merged with Abuse Counseling and Treatment, Inc.
This program of ACT provides comprehensive services to adult victims of sexual assault. The services include the performance of forensic evidentiary examinations, documentation of injuries, prophylactic treatment for sexually transmitted diseases, HIV testing, Hepatitis screening, potential pregnancy and crisis intervention counseling at the time of the incident and follow-up medical care, referral and counseling.
