Act is always in need of volunteers. With more volunteers, we are able to provide more dollars toward direct victim services. Volunteers can help at our Second ACT Thrift Store, our Arts for ACT Art Gallery, in our various departments, including direct service with clients.
Hold a food drive. With our two shelters full most of the time, food is always an issue. We can always use canned vegetables, fruits, and various frozen meats.
We realize people live busy lives, filled to the brim with their own obligations. We now have a NEW way people can still help if they don’t have extra time to volunteer. It is a new Travel Website. When people book their travel, hotel, rental cars, order flowers, etc. through our website, ACT receives a portion of the commissions…. which gives us extra funds for victim services. It is just like booking through any of the other travel sites out there and the prices are very competitive. Visit www.TravelWithACT.com to check it out.
You can help us by placing our literature on your Church or Synagogue bulletin. Or, you can help us arrange a speaking engagement for your civic or church group. Hold a fund raising event.
